Conformal Coated Crossover

IPX67: Longer life against harsh conditions. Protected against sun fade with UVA paint coating. Conformal coated crossover components protect against fresh and salt water spray as well as dust and sand. 1" PURE TITANIUM DOME TWEETER: Very smooth musical response, high output with minimal required amplifier power.

Water Resistant Composite Polypropylene

6.5" COMPOSITE POLY MIDRANGE: UVA Protected, water resistant composite polypropylene cone with temperature stable Butyl rubber surround mounted on a lightweight composite frame.HIGH TEMPERATURE VOICE COIL AND FORMER: Voice coil is high temperature copper, wound on a Kapton former which allows the voice coil to handle more power while remaining light in weight.

Aramid Fiber Composite Spider

WATER RESISTANT SPIDER: Aramid fiber composite spider to stabilize the cone and voice coil in all musical situations. Armid fibers do not degrade over time and are not susceptible to temperature swings.Front and rear venting allows air passage through the spider and back plate to exchange air over the voice coil.

FEATURES

Features:

Marine Certified - IPX67: Longer life against harsh conditions. Protected against sun fade with UVA paint coating. Conformal coated crossover components protect against fresh and salt water spray as well as dust and sand.
Tweeter Dome Material - 1" PURE TITANIUM DOME TWEETER: Very smooth musical response, high output with minimal required amplifier power.
Cone Material - 6.5" COMPOSITE POLY MIDRANGE: UVA Protected, water resistant composite polypropylene cone with temperature stable Butyl rubber surround mounted on a lightweight composite frame.
Voice Coil Former - HIGH TEMPERATURE VOICE COIL AND FORMER: Voice coil is high temperature copper, wound on a Kapton former which allows the voice coil to handle more power while remaining light in weight.
Spider - WATER RESISTANT SPIDER: Aramid fiber composite spider to stabilize the cone and voice coil in all musical situations. Armid fibers do not degrade over time and are not susceptible to temperature swings.
Cooling System - Front and rear venting allows air passage through the spider and back plate to exchange air over the voice coil.
Crossover - MARINE CERTIFIED CROSSOVER: Conformal Coated, Butterworth 12dB per octave crossover with PTC (Positive Thermal Coefficient) tweeter protection.
Frame - COMPOSITE: Each composite frame is nonmagnetic that provides higher efficiency and is non-resonance that delivers clear, accurate sound quality without any parasitic distortion (due to frame resonance). Composite frames are also not susceptible to harsh marine elements (corrosion), that greatly improves product longevity in the brutal marine environment.
Motor - High Energy Motor assembly: High energy iron ferrite magnet for higher output and smaller overall size.
